Our Pledge
The Conowingo HRC is comprised of members from several states in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The motto of the national Hunting Retriever Club organization is "By Hunters, For Hunters". Our primary goals are to:
To bring together hunters and their retrievers in a family like environment.
To engage in the training, educating, and promotion of hunting with a true gun dog.
To promote hunter safety and conservancy.
To protect and advance the interests of hunting retrievers.
To encourage and engage in a sportsmanlike manner, the participation in hunt tests and related events.
To educate the public at large in the wonderful adventure of retriever training in a hunting environment, and --
To conduct approved and licensed retriever hunt tests through the Hunting Retriever Club Inc, affiliated with the United Kennel Club Inc,
